Popular GPS maker Garmin has introduced the zūmo™ R1 Radar. This groundbreaking safety device makes advanced radar technology accessible for all motorcycles—not just higher-end models.

With its state-of-the-art features, this device monitors rear and side blind spots, offering exceptional situational awareness on the road. The system can be seamlessly added to any motorcycle or scooter. Specifically, it includes a compact radar sensor, two LED notification lights, and an auxiliary brake light that mounts discreetly to your bike’s license plate. Furthermore, heads-up indicator lights and optional audio alerts ensure riders stay aware of nearby vehicles.

For enhanced safety, the R1 Radar features two LED displays that attach to mirrors or handlebars. These displays provide clear visual cues if a vehicle is behind or in your blind spot.
