While India’s motorcycle scene is often associated with Royal Enfield classics, it’s exciting to see the country pushing forward in innovation and technology. The electric Ultraviolette F77 is a perfect example. Inspired by aviation, its drivetrain delivers a peak power of 30 kW and 100 Nm of torque, reaching a top speed of 155 km/h and 7.7sec to 100Km/h.
Though these specs may not be class-leading, the F77 offers a host of advanced features that put many modern combustion motorcycles to shame. These include an Anti-Collision Warning System, Hill Hold, Park Assist, Movement, Fall & Towing Alerts, Remote Lockdown, Crash Alert, and daily ride stats — all managed via a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Powered by a 10.3 kWh battery, the F77 boasts a range of up to 231 km (WMTC estimate). Its steel trellis frame, combined with a 41mm inverted fork and preload-adjustable monoshock, ensures sharp and confident handling. Safety is further reinforced with dual-channel BOSCH ABS, traction control, and three riding modes: Glide, Combat, and Ballistic (which unleash the full Torque Power).
The F77 is offered in three striking color schemes — Airstrike, Laser, and Shadow — each with its own distinct character. While getting one in Europe or the US might be a challenge (unless you live on Italy or Germany) it’s inspiring to see what’s emerging on the global market.
