The Defender 4 GTX is built around a single architectural decision that separates it from most adventure jackets: the GORE-TEX® liner runs over-and-under, meaning you can wear the waterproof layer as the outer shell or tucked inside the protective layer depending on conditions. The main shell is constructed almost entirely from bonded rib stretch material, with CORDURA® ripstop and abrasion-resistant screen print at the shoulders and elbows where contact with pavement is most likely. CE-level 2 SEEFLEX armor ships standard at the shoulders and elbows, with pockets prepared for optional SEESOFT chest (CE-level 1) and back (CE-level 2) inserts — and the jacket is compatible with REV’IT!’s Avertum Tech-Air® airbag system if you size up one. Ventilation runs from double drop-down chest panels and an XL back panel to sleeve-mounted zippers, giving you meaningful airflow management rather than a single token vent. Class AA certified to EN 17092-3:2020, the jacket retails at €729,99 — without the matching Defender 4 GTX pants, which add another €639,99 to the kit.
