Merlin Frontier ADV WP Boot

The Frontier Adv WP Boot sits within Merlin’s Explorer Collection, designed for adventure and dual-sport riding across mixed terrain and conditions. The upper is constructed from 2.4mm cowhide leather with rubberised reinforcement panels and ballistic nylon textile sections at high-wear areas. A velcro-covered front shin panel conceals an ATOP® wire closure system — a dial-and-steel-cable mechanism that allows incremental fit adjustment without removing gloves. Ankle protection comes from D3O® armour, which remains flexible during normal movement and firms on impact. Additional structure is provided by a rigid one-way-bend footbed and hot melt counter reinforcement at the heel and toe, with the boot certified to CE EN13634:2017. A Merlin Triple Liner Hipora® membrane handles waterproofing and breathability, a YKK® inside calf zip aids entry, and a vulcanised adventure outsole is profiled for grip across both hard and loose surfaces. A reflective panel at the heel improves rearward visibility in low light.
